Light the tip. Hold a flame to the tip of the stick for a few seconds until it catches and glows.

Fan out the flame. Gently fan or blow out the flame so the stick settles into a slow, even smolder rather than an open burn.

Place in a holder. Set the stick in a stable, fire-safe holder that will catch the falling ash.

Ventilate and enjoy. Burn in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts, and let the ash and holder cool fully before handling.

Juniper, rhododendron, Himalayan cedar, and kaulo (laha), sourced from Nepal's Solukhumbu region and handcrafted into 9cm sticks. A full ratio or extraction method is not published beyond naming all four botanicals.
