Step 1 — Add your light source. Use a standard tealight for real flame, or an LED tealight for a flameless glow.

Step 2 — Set it on a stable surface. Choose a level, heat-safe spot away from curtains and anything flammable before lighting a real candle.

Step 3 — Watch it while lit. Never leave a burning candle unattended, even briefly.

Step 4 — Protect it outdoors. Place it in a covered area for outdoor use and bring it inside during heavy rain or wind.

Step 5 — Clean gently. Wipe the glass and metal with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners or soaking, which can dull the pewter finish.

Placement. Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts that can cause an uneven or flaring flame.

Caution: Candle not included. When using a lit candle inside, place the lantern on a heat-resistant, stable surface, never leave it unattended, and keep it away from children and pets.
