Product Details
Coconut and vanilla with the sweetness turned up. Ripe mango, strawberry, bubble gum. Soft white musk and clean fresh linen for the quieter end. PHATOIL's fragrance oils are thirteen finished scents in 10ml amber bottles, each with a bulb pipette fitted into the cap — the smells people actually want in a candle, in the size you use to find out whether they work in yours.
The illustrated pastel labels make the range easy to work from at a glance: warm and edible at one end with coconut vanilla, strawberry, mango and bubble gum; soft and clean in the middle with white musk, fresh linen and parma violet; florals in japanese magnolia and black orchid; and four interpretations of well-known designer perfumes, named on the labels and produced by PHATOIL as their own readings of those scent directions.
Because they are composed rather than distilled, they do the one thing natural oils cannot: hold their shape through a 70°C pour and a fortnight of curing. A real citrus fades out of wax within weeks; these are still there when the candle reaches the customer. It is also why every bottle costs the same — no plant yield to price around, which makes costing a whole product line straightforward rather than a spreadsheet exercise.
Six to ten per cent of total wax weight for candles, added around 65–70°C and stirred right through. Up to about eight per cent for wax melts, three to six for cold-process soap, and three to five drops in an ultrasonic diffuser tank. Test a single bar or one candle first: sweet fragrances are among the more likely to accelerate trace in soap or discolour a pale wax, and finding that out in a full batch is an expensive way to learn it.
Worth knowing before you order: PHATOIL prints "Fragrance Oil" on every one of these labels, and that is exactly right — coconut vanilla, bubble gum and white musk do not come out of a still. Older listings called them essential oils; ours does not. For genuine plant distillates, that is a different shelf.
