Step 1 — Choose a safe surface. Place the cauldron on a fire-safe, heat-resistant surface such as tile, metal, or stone.

Step 2 — Trim the wick. Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before lighting.

Step 3 — Light and settle in. Light the candle and let the sandalwood fragrance settle the room before you begin your ritual or simply relax.

Step 4 — Cover between sessions. Use the lid to snuff and cover the cauldron when you step away, to contain scent and reduce airflow to the flame.

Step 5 — Reuse the cauldron. Once the candle is fully burned and the cauldron has cooled completely, use it to hold a heat-safe dish or charcoal disc for incense or resin.

Caring for the cauldron. Wipe the cauldron clean and dry once fully cooled after each use, and avoid using water on hot cast iron.

Open flame. This is a real burning candle with an open flame inside a cast iron vessel. Never leave it unattended, and keep it well away from children and pets.

Heat. The cauldron becomes very hot during and after burning; never touch it or move it while hot, and never use water to cool it.

Surface. Burn only on a fire-safe, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable materials.

Caution: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn on a heat-resistant, stable surface away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn, and discontinue burning once about 1/2 inch of wax remains.
