Mind what it sits on. Undiluted oil can mark polished or painted surfaces — decant over something wipeable.

Dilute before skin contact. Always mix into a carrier oil before applying to skin — do not use undiluted on the body.

Patch test first. Test a small area of skin before full application.

Away from eyes. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and mucous membranes — the menthol content causes intense irritation on contact.

Not for young children. Not recommended for use around children under 6 years old, since menthol can cause breathing difficulties in young children. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and consult a healthcare provider before use during pregnancy.
