Getting Started. Place the box on a stable surface away from drafts before lighting anything.

For Sticks. Insert the base of each stick into a holder hole so the tip sits centered under the cutouts, then close the lid to let smoke vent through.

For Cones. Stand each cone upright on the interior tray, light the tip, let the flame die down to a glow, then close the lid.

While It Burns. Make sure the lid can still vent freely and never force it fully shut over an active flame.

After Use. Let the ash cool completely, empty it out, and wipe the interior dry with a soft cloth.

Materials. The box is hand-carved from Sheesham (Indian rosewood), with sun and moon motifs and diamond cutouts carved directly into the lid. As a solid wood piece rather than a consumable, there's no ingredient list to disclose.

Storage. Keep the box dry and out of direct sunlight or strong heat, both of which can dry out and dull the rosewood over time. Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth, and an occasional light application of natural wood oil helps keep the grain conditioned — avoid soaking the wood or using harsh cleaners. There's no shelf life to track on a solid wood piece; with reasonable care it should last indefinitely.

Open-Flame Caution. This box is designed to hold actively burning incense, so always supervise it while in use. Set it on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, and never leave it burning unattended. Keep it away from curtains, paper, and other flammable materials, out of reach of children and pets, and burn in a well-ventilated room. Let the ash cool completely before opening the lid fully or handling the interior.
