Light a charcoal disc. Hold a flame to the edge of an incense charcoal disc until it sparks and begins to glow across its surface.

Set it in a burner. Place the lit disc in a heat-safe burner or a dish of sand, on a stable, non-flammable surface, and give it a minute or two to ash over.

Add a small pinch. Drop a small pinch of resin onto the hot charcoal — a little goes a long way, and more can always be added once the first pinch has burned off.

Ventilate and enjoy. Burn in a well-ventilated room, away from flammable objects, children, and pets, and let the charcoal and burner cool completely before emptying them.
