1. Set up your burner. Use a heat-safe burner with a layer of sand or ash on a stable, fire-safe surface.

2. Light with tongs. Hold the tablet with tweezers or tongs, light the edge, and let it spark uniformly across the surface.

3. Let it glow fully. Wait until the tablet turns grey and glows evenly before adding your incense on top.

4. Extinguish and cool. Let the spent tablet burn out and cool completely before disposal.

5. Store the rest sealed. Keep the remaining roll tightly closed in a cool, dry place.

What it is. Each tablet is pressed charcoal with a quick-light coating on the edge. It is fuel for burning your own resin, bakhoor, or powdered incense on top — the tablet itself carries no added fragrance.

Storage. Keep the roll sealed between uses in a cool, dry place. A damp tablet can be slow to light or burn unevenly.

Shelf life. As a general guide, sealed tablets stay reliable for roughly 12–24 months. This is general guidance rather than a printed expiration date, since individual tablets are not date-stamped.

Buying the right size. If you burn incense only occasionally, our smaller 33mm roll may suit you better so tablets don't sit unused too long.

Extreme heat. A lit charcoal tablet burns very hot and stays hot well after the glow fades. Use a heatproof burner with a layer of sand or ash, never bare wood, plastic, or fabric.

Handling. Use metal tongs or tweezers to light and position the tablet. Never touch a lit or recently-extinguished tablet with bare hands.

Ventilation and placement. Burn only in a well-ventilated room on a stable, fire-safe surface, away from curtains, paper, and other flammable materials.

Children and pets. Keep burning tablets and the unlit roll well out of reach of children and pets, and never leave a lit tablet unattended.
