Open the locket. Gently open the Tree of Life pendant to reveal the felt pad inside.

Add oil or perfume. Place 2-4 drops of your chosen essential oil or perfume onto the pad.

Let it absorb. Give the pad 30-60 seconds to absorb before closing the locket, so the scent doesn't transfer onto your fingers.

Refresh as needed. Reapply once the scent fades, or swap in a spare pad to change fragrances entirely.

Store pads separately. Keep unused pads apart from each other so scents stay distinct rather than blending together.

No shelf life for the jewelry. The metal pendant and chain don't expire - only the felt pad shows wear over repeated use.

Storage. Keep the locket dry when not in use, and store spare pads in a small sealed bag to help them hold scent longer between uses.

Pad lifespan. A pad can generally be reused several times with occasional gentle washing; replace it once it stops holding fragrance well.

Oil and perfume contact. Apply drops to the felt pad rather than directly to skin or the metal locket, and let the pad absorb briefly before closing to avoid transfer onto clothing.

Water and heat. Remove before showering, swimming, or sitting in direct heat for extended periods, which can affect both the pad and the plated finish.

Children and pets. Store the necklace, spare pads, and any oils or perfumes out of reach of children and pets.
