Use the included stand. Set a cone upright on the small ceramic stand that ships in the box, or on any heat-resistant dish — cones have no bamboo core, so they need a stable, non-flammable surface beneath them.

Light the tip. Hold a flame to the tip of the cone for a few seconds until it glows and catches evenly.

Fan out the flame. Gently fan the flame out rather than blowing it hard, so the cone keeps a steady smolder from tip to base.

Ventilate and enjoy. Burn in a well-ventilated room away from drafts for an even burn. Cone smoke is denser than stick smoke, so begin with shorter sessions if the room is small.

Hand-pressed masala cones made from natural woods and herbs, plant gums, tree resins, and pure aromatic oils, then sun-dried. A full ratio or purity specification is not published by the supplier. If you have known fragrance or plant-based allergies, consider a test burn first.

Keep cones in their box, closed between uses, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity — moisture is what dulls a pressed masala cone first, and it also makes them harder to light cleanly. Stored this way, cones generally hold their fragrance for 12-24 months, though this is general guidance rather than a supplier-stated date, as no expiration date is printed on the packaging.

Never leave a burning cone unattended, and keep it well out of reach of children and pets. Burn only on the included ceramic stand or another heat-resistant, non-flammable dish, away from curtains, papers, and anything else that could catch. Use in a well-ventilated room, and let the stand and ash cool fully before moving or discarding them.
