Set up a holder. Place the stick upright or at an angle in a fire-safe incense holder.

Light the tip. Light the tip of the stick until it catches, then gently blow out the flame.

Let it smolder. Let it smolder undisturbed in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts.

Extinguish fully. If you need to stop before it burns out, fully extinguish it in sand or ash.

Tseringma Prayer Ceremony Bhutanese Incense is handcrafted from Carthamus tinctorius (Gurgum), Cinnamomum tamala (Shing-tsa), clove, ruta, ginseng, Rinchen Nge Nga (five precious gems), and Himalayan herbs and resins. If you have known fragrance or plant-based allergies, review the ingredient list before burning and consider a small test burn first.

Store sticks in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, both of which can dull the fragrance and make them brittle. Kept this way, incense generally holds its scent well for 12-24 months, though this is general guidance rather than a supplier-stated date, since no expiration date is printed on the packaging.

This is a burning product that produces an open ember and smoke when lit. Always burn it in a well-ventilated room, on a stable, heat-safe holder or dish, well away from curtains, papers, and other flammable material. Never leave a burning stick unattended, and keep both the lit product and the ash it produces out of reach of children and pets. Fully extinguish the ember in sand, water, or a dedicated ash catcher before leaving the room, and let the holder cool before handling or emptying the ash.

Caution: Keep burning incense on a stable, heat-safe holder or dish, away from curtains, papers, and anything flammable. Never leave a burning stick or cone unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
