A: Ignite the tip until it catches, let the flame go out so it smolders, then waft the smoke through your space while keeping a window open. Hold it over a fireproof dish and keep away from flammables and smoke detectors.

Q: How do I extinguish and store it?
A: Gently press the lit end into a fireproof dish, sand, or salt to snuff it out—avoid water unless necessary. Let it cool fully, then store in a dry, breathable container (paper bag or tin). The plastic bag is for transportation only, not long-term storage.

Q: How long does one smudge stick last?
A: Duration varies by use, but a 3–4" bundle typically provides multiple sessions when you let it smolder briefly and extinguish between uses.

Q: Is it safe around pets or people with sensitivities?
A: Smoke and strong aromas can bother pets and those with asthma or fragrance sensitivities. Use in a well-ventilated area, keep animals (especially birds) out of the room, and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
