Align the cone. Set a backflow cone on the burner's top inlet so its hollow base sits directly over the hole.

Find a stable spot. Place the burner on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, fans, or open windows.

Light it. Light the cone's tip until it glows, then gently blow out the flame.

Let the smoke settle. Give it a few seconds before leaving the room so the downward flow can establish itself undisturbed.

Wipe it down. Once cooled, clean with a soft, damp cloth to keep the glaze and vent clear of residue.

Material. Premium-quality glazed ceramic. Exact clay and glaze formulation is not separately documented by the supplier, so no purity claim is made beyond the material itself.

What it doesn't contain. No fragrance is built into the burner — all scent comes from the backflow cone, sold separately.

Storage. Store in a dry spot away from direct sun; ceramic glaze holds up well but can dull with prolonged UV exposure over time.
